These dedicated leaders bring together a wealth of experience, passion, and commitment to ensuring that HBCUs and their students have the resources, opportunities, and support they need in life’s most critical moments.
Oscar Ball
Founder
Oscar Ball III, a proud native of Goldsboro, NC, is a visionary leader and community builder. He founded The 4th Quarter Foundation with a vision to create something greater than himself—an organization that opens doors where access has been limited, brings people together in unity, and celebrates the powerful spirit and culture of HBCUs.
Jamerian Myles
Board Member
Jamerian Myles is from Virginia Beach, Virginia and graduated from Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Jamerian is a Multi-Restaurant Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Glenwood
Place and Chick-fil-A Ponce & Boulevard. He has been with Chick-fil-A for 20 years and
has served as an Operator for 13 years.
Malliron Hodge
Board Member
Founder and CEO of Baddies with Business and Malliron L Hodge Education Innovation Consulting LLC. Malliron is passionate about supporting people in bringing their dreams to reality, one small step at a time. Why 4th Quarter: I ADORE Winston-Salem State University and I saw it as an opportunity to do what we've learn "Depart to Serve" and provide ongoing support, guidance, and love to the next generation of RAMily And other HBCU students.
Quintin Jones
Board Member
Quintin Jones is an accomplished Business Development Director with a proven track record in driving growth and establishing market presence across diverse international landscapes. With over a decade of experience in the food industry, Quintin has successfully navigated the complexities of global markets, contributing to significant revenue increases and expansion efforts. Quintin is also the visionary founder of Q. Jones Custom Jewelry, a brand dedicated to creating unique and personalized jewelry pieces that celebrate individuality and style.
Shana Wynn Rushing
Board Member
Shana Wynn Rushing is an attorney with a passion for ensuring retirement security for low income older adults. Shana is also passionate about helping students achieve goals for higher education, which inspired her to join the 4th Quarter team.
Willie J Crite Jr
Board Member
Willie J Crite Jr has a Bachelors of Science Degree from Winston Salem State University. He is the President of Accounting Bookkeeping & Tax Financial Services Plus Inc and the President of Swift Tax Inc, both located In Charlotte, NC.

I have a passion for giving back to kids and young adults. I love HBCUs and partnering with 4th Quarter because it allow me to give back to HBCUs where most if not all are underfunded.
